M571 does not use a standard USB add-on cable if you didn't mod the cable.

Instead, you must use the PCCHIPS ATX Form Factor card, which adds 2 USB ports, 1 PS/2 Port, and 1 IR Port.

Tons of these can be found on eBay right now for less than $10.00.

Also, a piece of advice, you should have at least 64MB (preferably 128MB) otherwise a USB camera will run VERY SLOW.

: Ihave a pc chips m571 mother board running win 98. Having problem installing web cam. I bought a usb dual port cable. enabled usb in bios, pluged it into the mother board. I But it doesnt work do not know if I plugged it in correctly or not. tried different ways to no avail.
